C l e a n 🧹 Beadwork
The foundation of Natural Beaded Rows Extensions is in the beadwork.
This is the first major step of the installation, before the Hand tied wefts are sewn on this track using a special hair weaving thread. The wefts are sewn onto the string between the beads, and NOT to your actual hair. Which makes it so much more comfortable and less itchy! The track is placed WITH the shape of your head in mind, allowing for easy flip ups and pony’s. The beads should be snug but not TOO tight. It should feel like a headband the first few days, and then eventually feel like nothing at all. The beads are hidden under your custom colored hand tied wefts, so you don’t have to worry about them showing when you move your hair around.
NBR allows me to give my clients SO much added hair without tons of points of contact with their natural hair. Each row consists of anywhere between 12-15 beads. Those are the only contact points with your natural hair! If you’ve ever worn an individual beaded or keratin method, you may have anywhere between 150-400+ attachments 😵
Less points of contact= LESS hair shed and potential damage
I love the transparency of this method, never hiding what the process of your investment looks like. It is important to me that you KNOW what’s on your head.
Many methods today require stylists to sign contracts stating that they cannot show what the track looks like online so other stylists don’t try to rip it off. But we don’t mind showing our track with NBR because although it may LOOK simple, it requires tons of practice and training. Someone simply can’t learn just by looking at a photo on Instagram.
Personally, I have trained and received different certifications through Natural Beaded Rows 5 times in the last 5 years and am currently a member of DKWS Academy, which provides continued education and access to the exclusive ISLA by NBR hair line.
(It’s amazing quality and ethically sourced🙌🏻)
